Whitehead Hanshi has travelled and done many seminars in France and amongst the many awards he has received over the years, the one that stands out from the rest was a Commendation Award received from the town of Carentan in Normandy 2001, for his efforts in promoting Anglo-French relations within the arts.
He has travelled Europe and has conducted seminars as far a field as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, together with his wife who herself an 8th Dan and teacher in her own right, they run the N.W.B.A.I. Their Hombu is based in Blackpool, Lancashire England.
What started as an idea in conversation with Grayston-hanshi, myself and Blanchet-hanshi is now turning into fruition with such prestigious members all striving towards the same beliefs for the future of traditional martial arts.
